Justin Roberts - Yellow Bus (CD)

Where it all started to click. Yellow Bus is Justin Roberts' second album and the record that introduced the world to "Willy Was a Whale," "One Little Cookie," and the beloved title track — songs that have been family staples for over two decades and show no signs of getting old.

The Chicago Sun-Times asked what Big Star would have sounded like had they recorded children's music, and answered: something like this. Chiming guitars, beautiful harmonies, and Roberts' gift for finding the funny, tender, and true in everyday childhood moments — car rides, rocketships, monsters that turn out not to be monsters, and the ongoing negotiations involved in getting a dog. Parents' Choice called it "immensely appealing, creative, with genuine all-ages appeal."

Disney's Family Fun Magazine said it best: "Hop on the bus, you're guaranteed to enjoy the ride." A timeless collection for ages 2–8 and the perfect starting point for any new Justin Roberts fan. Released 2001 on Carpet Square Records.
