Justin Roberts - Not Naptime (CD)

⭐ Parents' Choice Gold Award winner
🏆 Named one of the 25 Best Children's CDs of the Past 25 Years — Parents' Choice

A genuine classic of children's music. Not Naptime is the album that cemented Justin Roberts as one of the great voices in kindie rock — 12 original songs covering the full emotional range of childhood, from the defiant ("Don't even start with those carpet squares," goes the title track) to the tender, to the downright hilarious.

Concert favorites "Brontosaurus Got a Sweet Tooth" and "Billy the Bully" are here in their original form, alongside the wistful "Moving," the cosmic "Nine Planets," and the aching lullaby that closes the album, "Last Night the Moon Was Full" — which the Washington Post called breathtaking. It's an album that holds up to dozens of listens and grows with the kids who hear it.

One of the most celebrated albums in his catalog and a must for any Justin Roberts collection. Perfect for ages 3–9. Released 2003 on Carpet Square Records.
